Sky Cliff Center’s Vision is to provide continuing care to Adults with Special Needs by offering programs that foster a sense of self-worth in each participant through positive encouragement in a loving and accepting environment.

SKY CLIFF CENTER STROKE SUPPORT:

Everybody at Sky Cliff IS Somebody", including Stroke Victors/Caregivers! We know it is "All About Brains"..each one uniquely different, yet all can fit in and work together to heal. Obvious limitations, and some apparent only to the one in need, can be identified in the group setting. Help with implementing solutions to problems, needs, becomes easier. Strength in numbers, having like minds within a group, has been found to offer necessary help/understanding along the winding, unfamiliar road of recovery.

Our stroke folks have learned that the slow, steady, HARD work may still come up as less than ideal. Coming Back, although changed, different, sometimes is even better. Focus now is Communication, Conversation, Connections..learning all over again. Perfection no longer! Being open, honest, up front, direct, creates continued cognitive training for healing.

"Your Courage..Our Support"..we are allies along side the Stroke Victor/Caregiver. Very necessary for progress, as they begin "living life" again. A healthy support group is like a "foothold" that is dependable, loyal and stable. "Provides a calm port during a friends emotional storm"...(C.Hax) Stroke..Recovery..Togetherness..it works..we have seen it!

ChristLife Community Church –5451 E. Highway 86, Franktown, in the gym. 10:00am – 1:00 pm (lunch is provided)

3rd Wednesday of the month – Sky Ridge Medical Center
